TUITION AND LATE FEES
Each month, tuition payments are due by the first lesson and “late” after the 10th of month. There is a late fee of $5.00 for tuition paid after the 10th of the month. Our dance season will run from August through May. Some months will have 3, 4, or 5 lessons. Classes are payable in equal payments; with the exception of August which is a half month. We accept cash and checks (made out to “CPA”); receipts for cash payments are available. PLEASE include the dancer’s name and a breakdown in the memo line. Ex: “Jane Long, $48 tuition, $20 costume deposit.” Payments may be mailed or given to Mr. Daniel. There is a return check charge of $25.00 per check.
Please send your child regularly except when they are sick or when unusual or difficult circumstances make it desirable for the child to miss a lesson. Notify the school if it is known that the child will miss more than two lessons in sequence.
- Any dancer missing six or more lessons without making them up will not be able to perform in our Spring Recital. (Classes must be made up before April).
- Any dancer missing nine or more lessons during the dance year that are not made up can not be promoted to the next level.
Please be prompt in arrival and departure. Do not bring child more than 15 minutes prior to actual class time without making arrangements with the instructor.
There will be make-up classes for classes missed due to snow. When roads are deemed to be hazardous for travel the school will announce closing on local radio stations. If in doubt please call.
$35.00 per family is included in yearly fee payments or due prior to March 1st. This fee includes recital T-shirt, 2 tickets to recital, and is non -refundable.
Our recital will be held near the end of the month of May. All dancers appear in at least one dance with the exception of pre-school dancers who perform by permission of instructor. Good class attendance and attendance at rehearsals are required for dancers to participate in the recital.
Costumes are ordered for our annual recital from professional costume houses. Costume must be paid for in advance prior to November 15 or announced date. Approximate cost $55.00 – $70.00. Costume costs are non-refundable. We will try to be as economical as possible.
